At Tilly & Tojo we are committed to working responsibly and sustainably; we are not perfect but are always trying to consciously think of ways to reduce our impact on the environment. 

We are a true slow-fashion kids clothing brand with a small range of styles and limited quantities.

All our garments are made of 100% cotton and are designed to be non-seasonal to reduce waste. We source the softest fabrics with a really nice weight to them which makes our clothes super comfortable but also ensures longevity so that the garments can be passed on to siblings / other children to wear. 

To produce our garments, we work with partners we know and trust. Our garments are made in Turkey in a factory that operates at a very high ethical standard and has created the right environment for their staff to work. All staff are being paid a fair living wage meeting national legal requirements and no underage children are employed. We make clothes for children not by children!

Our goods travel to the UK by land instead of by air to reduce carbon emissions and to ship your orders in the UK we are using Royal Mail which has the lowest reported carbon emissions per parcel of any major UK delivery company. 

Our swing tags are made from recycled paper and are attached to the garments with a string and needle. Our ‘Thank you’ and gift message cards as well as tissue paper is also made from recycled paper and our mailing bags are made from compostable material and Kraft paper. And we don’t send out paper invoices or return slips with your orders and are working mainly via email to limit any unnecessary loose paper. 

It’s a continuous journey but one we are very passionate about!
